The event featured an impressive lineup of robots, including the Robot Dog B2 (legged and wheeled), Robot Dog GO2 Pro, GO2 Pro with 3D reconstruction, and the Humanoid Robot G1. A key highlight was the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding between SBS Transit and Weston Robot to integrate robotics into transit operations. Dr. Yanliang Zhang delivered a 15-minute speech emphasizing robotics' transformative potential. Weston Robot showcased its advanced robotics at IDEASFEST 2024, a platform for government agencies to exchange best practices and technologies to improve public services for Singaporeans. Partnering with the Singapore Land Authority under the Ministry of Law, Weston Robot demonstrated the Robot Dog GO2 for companionship and patrolling, the Humanoid Robot G1 for reception and repetitive tasks, and an Unmanned Surface Vehicle (USV) for water cleaning. Graced by an address from Leo Yip, Head of Public Service in Singapore, the event highlighted how robotics can enhance efficiency, sustainability, and safety in public service operations, fostering innovation and collaboration.
